Hickory Nut Gorge Foggy Fall Morning

One of my favorite photos I have taken in NC. Beyond the beauty, this is from the top of Bearwallow Mountain, which is where my ancestors made their home before the American Revolution. Unfortunately, of course, there is a big development underway on the mountain which I fear will change it for ill.
This is facing southwest, towards Henderson County.
