A new record for Asheville. I am surprised that it is that low for this season, seems like some tropical storm or another would have dumped more, but there it is.

A record 2.98 inches of rain for that particular day hardly means the drought is over. Am I an idiot for still saying that we're in a severe drought? Been looking at the area reservoirs lately?
