Colorless December ... Brooklyn 1987

Today's black and white is another oldie, a stunt for the movie War filmed in Brooklyn in 1987 by Troma. It is not everyday you get to see a truck fly off a pier into a boat in a fiery collision with a boat, even in NYC.

This was also the first photo I ever had on the front page of the New York Times. I had several before on the inner pages. It was on the lower right side, and said A Fiery Crash In Brooklyn For Art's Sake. Being Troma, I think art was pushing it a bit.
